Effective August 2026 · Biblicast is made by SELC Enterprises LLC

Biblicast turns a daily Bible verse into a short audio episode for you. To do that, we collect only what the app needs to work. We do not sell your data, and we show no ads.

What we collect

How episodes are made

The verse and style you choose are sent to our servers, where the episode script and narration are generated with the help of AI service providers acting on our behalf. Your episodes are stored so you can replay them.

Who we share with

Only service providers that run Biblicast: Apple (sign-in and payments), Amazon Web Services (hosting), our AI generation providers — including Google, whose Gemini service narrates each episode from the script we generate — and Google Analytics on the website. Each receives only what is needed to provide the service. We never sell personal information.

The biblicast.ai website uses Google Analytics to understand site traffic. It sets a cookie in your browser to count visits and measure which pages are read. We do not use it to identify you, and it is not linked to your Biblicast account. Our apps do not include Google Analytics.

Meta Muse

If you connect Meta Muse (Settings → Connected apps), Muse sends us requests on your behalf and we answer with the titles and links in your library, what is on Today, and the episodes you ask it to make. We never share your account details, billing, or invite codes with Muse. Your connection code is stored only as a hash and deleted the moment you disconnect; each request is logged with the tool used and the time and kept up to 90 days like our other technical logs. What Muse does with what it receives is governed by Meta's terms.

Retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account any time in the app (Settings → Delete Account). This permanently removes your account, your profile, and your episode library. We retain a record of payments and credits, and the link between your deleted account and its Apple subscription, because we need them to handle refunds and to keep our books; these records no longer identify you by name or email. Backups containing account data are retained for up to 35 days after deletion. Our servers also keep technical logs — including your device's IP address and the requests it made — for up to 90 days, for security and to diagnose problems. These logs are not used to profile you.

Children

Biblicast is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
